Friends and Families ,

Our friends Robin and Art Payne invited us to their "Fives" party, celebrating five years since they had first left Germany, the start of another (hopefully) five-year stint in Germany, and Robin's five and fiftieth birthday. Their house was wonderful and the party festive, despite non-cooperative (=rainy) weather

	Preparation was part of the fun.
Don't ask me who everyone was. It was a very nice combination of folks we knew and ones we didn't, new German residents, old-time ex-pats, and plenty of real German friends.
	This part was the toast for "the fives".
	Dessert just put everybody over the edge on food, but it was worth it.
	The party continued into the Wii hours, with Marianne's introduction to the marvels of electronic sports.
