This Hopfenbaurenhoph (hops farm) was built in the early 1800s and is shown as it would look around 1910-20, including the stand-alone bread oven.  In later years the upper floor had two guest rooms, a useful addition to the earnings from hops alone.

The barn shows the whole hops farming process, from spraying for bugs and mold through picking and sorting and drying.  The upper floors included the narrow slit windows that allowed in the drying breeze.
