An Evening Walk After Work

Dear Friends and Families,
My work keeps me away from home during much of the week while I work at our company's other main German office in Erlangen in the state of Bavaria. Most evenings, I work until 6 or 7 pm, and then go back to the hotel, have dinner and fall asleep watching CNN. This is what passes for exotic foreign travel. However, as summer approaches, sunset gets later and later and it is such a shame to waste the "fierabend" ("free evening" - used locally as a greeting at the end of the work day.)
One Tuesday, I broke my pattern and visit nearby Nurnberg. My goal was to at least try a hour's worth of picture-taking to see what might turn out as the sun left this historic town.
I liked the results. I hope you do.
