Dear Friends and Families,
Our real goal in Budapest was to meet up with our friends Peter and Rita and their friend Dave. This diary is a collection of "people pictures" from that visit. ("Postcard pictures" were on the last diary.)
Because we'd been to Budapest before, and because Marianne speaks good Hungarian, we served as tour guides for the group. We did the standard things: castles, churches, and squares. Budapest has an ample supply of all of them, as well as a great farmer's market, picturesque bridges and a number of good restaurants. But mostly, this was a visit with friends and that made it special.
