Catching Up
March, 2011 Written April 2 Friends and Families ,
Every once in awhile, we need to just put in some reminder diaries. These are probably not interesting for others, but they let us supplement our memories. That's increasingly important.
First, there's the home town, Pommersfelden. This is a pretty quiet time of the year. The castle and its gargoyles and gates are still here, but no visitors. The local mill still doesn't work. My car scared me with a light that was diagnosed as meaning I needed 2500 euros worth of catalytic converters. Later diagnosis reduced that to a couple hundred for a sensor repair. The "Alte Bahnhof" train car is our town's new restaurant. And, finally, the "maulwurf" are back, digging up the yard.
OK, so now we have a little record of a bit of March. After this, I'll do a work-related story and then a story of a weekend trip to the land of gnomes.
Stay tuned.
