Hi Gabs!
Here are some shots of the party and the freshly fallen snow. Of course it looks like John didn't go to the dance because he is the official photographer. The man I'm dancing with is Mike, the director of the school. The scene with the shoes is before and after the dance we had to change shoes because of the snow; can't go out there in our dancing slippers!
Last night we had a new snowfall and after dinner John and I bundled up and went out walking in the winter wonderland. The wind was blowing all the snow around, but it was just beautiful. There is such a wonderful silence when the snow is falling. The streets were pretty much deserted. Most sane people were indoors staying warm!
Last night John was 2 hours late getting home and I really started to worry. He couldn't call for a number of reasons, but I thought his driver had gotten them into a wreck. There are a number of those on the road each day because of the difficulty of driving in these conditions.
Tell Mom I got her letter mailed Nov. 1st and I enjoyed it so much. All her letters are so full of caring and love. I better sign off and get ready for school. Love you very much!!!
