Dear Diary,

A major goal of our San Jose stop was to empty our storage locker. Despite the fact that we had already had a container shipment sent to Germany, the place was still shockingly full. What WAS all this stuff?

As it turned out, most of it was destined for family, a yard sale (thanks, Bobi), and the trash heap. Why exactly had we spent tens-of-thousands of dollars storing it? Who knows?

As of this writing, the story isn't done. Today, Bobi and Rubin will haul off yet another pick-up truck load, mostly for an upcoming yard sale. And, later in the week, Chris should take away the table and chairs. I'm still hopeful that, by the time Marianne comes home again, we will have turned in the keys and closed this chapter in our life of acquisitions.
